I located the bug somewhere to be present in ntdll: I compiled wine-0.9 without CFLAGS set and _with_ CFLAGS="-m32" *without CFLAGS: a get the above mentioned error *with CFLAGS="-m32": program starts just fine Now i installed wine compiled _without_ CFLAGS again, and overwrote ntdll.dll.so with the ntdll.dll.so form the version compiled _with_ CFLAGS="-m32": program starts just fine again. Does any one have an idea where to look further? P.S.
