I should tell you that it only crashed like this when I used -opengl. Starting winecfg a scratching burst sound comes from the speakers. Same when selecting the audio tab. I've tried wine-0.9.22 and 0.9.25. Same problem. That could have caused something necessary (localisation altogether?) to have been left out. In the debug log I get there are two errors, and they both concern /dlls/kernel32/process.c. The first one only breaks, but can be continued. The timeout DOES happen, but before it wasn't woken up using the winsock select.
