If I point these to "FreeMono" (from the freefont package) then printing becomes very unstable: it works sometimes, and it crashes other times. Lot's of heap corruption messages on the linux console. A sample is attached. The OpenFileDialog code is difficult... one dialog is embedded inside the other, and the location of a static control is used to resize the dialog.
