If you run ACDSee from the command line in windows too, it will likely fail. So what happens after the ok or cancel button will require tracing with debug channels or other debugging methods or programs. If there is a debug channel or two that will log the messages I can get some logs. Here is the source and exe of a one line program Delphi 3 applicaion to execute the file open dialog. Wine then crashes. Expected result should be something like "no file specified". This occurs on the latest CVS as of a few minutes ago.
