[Bug 345] Changed - information about available serial ports should be present in registry

Hello, I running Fedora Core 6 and have been trying to use Wine with an older MS application that requires a com port. However wine is not detecting the ports. I did create links in /dosdevices (ln -s /dev/ttyS com1) and have even checked Fedora using dmesg |grep tty, and the ports are there. However when I check the windows registry no ports are listed. Any ideas? Regards, Michael

LFS server running on Wine is a popular combination, unfortunately it isn't very stable. I traced some glitches and player disconnections to NTP time updating, and further tests shown that forward time changes causes all player cars to suddenly jump forward, while backward changes causes disconnections. On Windows, however, system time changes do not affect LFS server in any way. This led me to dig into MSDN, and QueryPerformanceCounter was the first function I've found that may be the cause of problems.
