Looking at the inf files for the 2k installation I see that msdaorar.dll is listed twice, which explains error 32 (sharing violation). The question is, should the file still be open? Or maybe a sharing violation is not a fatal error? Should the copy be deferred to the next boot? When a new vertex decl is set, I AddRef and Release it to destroy it, but unfortunately did that before unsetting the converted decl pointer :-/ . My screen only stays black. I can hit the "X" to close the wine virtual desktop and will be shown the titlebar for "Planescape: Torment" and supposedly a dialog box, because I can hit "Esc" and be put back to the black screen.
