To duplicate this under wine and windows: 1. Download mpt116.zip from http://mccormick.cx/mpt116.zip (It's GPL so I am allowed to distribute it from there). 2. Unzip and run the executable. 3. Go to the setup menu and select the midi tab. 4. Select your USB midi keyboard in the pulldown menu. 5. Click 'apply' and then 'ok'. 6. Click the 'midi record' button at the left of the song control buttons. 7. Press play in the song control buttons. 8. Hit keys on your USB Midi keyboard. Under Windows notes will appear in the pattern. By the way there's no prob to consider it a "major" bug... just to explain my choice was not a random one. As stated by Tom Spear this bug is different, in this case there's a crash, not a simple graphic problem.
