I don't know what's wrong with my system - maybe it's my fault that the game behaves so bad (configuration?) - maybe it's a distribution specific software bug (Fedora kernel ?) - maybe it's a program in the background (KDE, skype,... ?) - maybe it's a driver failure (Intel chipset, ATi graphics,... ?) - i don't think it's hardware defect, because this computer is brand new (CPU/GPU overheat, defect video/system RAM,... ?) Please help me, I have never played this game longer than 30 minutes (WinXP is an exception...). This made the installer say it had failed. Actually Running the installed programs seems to be OK though. System: fresh ~/.wine, wine-0.9.40, no winetools, ubuntu feisty. I'm using an image of the Office97 CD, which already contains SP1. (Setting severity to minor, because this doesn't seem to have any obvious ill-effects - as far as I can tell.
