It went quite alright apart from a strange behavior at one moment : when in the monastery, clicking on the bellows of the candle machine, the game almost freezes. I mean, it seems all frozen, but when you wait long enough, you see your cursor coming back. Then you are still able to move and make actions, but it's very, very, very slow. At the end, when you click to open the little box with the candle, everything start to work alright again. That's the only one problem I had with this game. Ubuntu Feisty 7.10, official distrib Wine version (0.9.46) and official CD's of Syberia 2. I'd love to see you guys get Wine to a place where Cinema 4D R8.2 will run. Maxon's Cinema 4D R8.0 & R8.2 both completely fail to run. When attempting to run all that happens is an error report in terminal and nothing else. I'm using Ubuntu 7.04, the official nVidia drivers, and Wine 0.9.49. Also changing Windows versions in the Applications settings of the Wine Configuration for Cinema 4D has no effect on it. I'm not much good with this stuff but I'd love so see if you can achieve full Windows compatibility so I'm reporting this in hopes the data will be found to be useful. Now when the world loads it is all black in hardware shader mode. Trying to run the executable "zeus.exe" results in hundreds of garbage messages about "Missing pak or sav in Basic Tutorial 0". One shows up at first, and then if that is cleared more and more are generated. I went through a couple of hundred before I gave up. To replicate: Install from CD, attempt to launch with Wine 0.9.54. In the console from where I opened the program the following messages are appearing continuously: Internal Program Error: C:\FineReader7\Shell\Frame\FineMdi.cpp, 756. Internal Program Error: C:\FineReader7\Shell\Frame\FineMdi.cpp, 908. I can close the program by clicking on the x-icon right in top of the FineReader-window, but not by clicking on the menu-item 'exit'. After closing the program, there is a lot of output in the console from where I opened the program. These output is copied in an attachment In the previous version, 0.9.53, this bug didn't exist. So this bug is a regression.
