If you want to fix the patch up or do anything else you want with it, then feel free to do so. The point is that it shows an inconsistency with Windows. [Bug 8233] Apprentice chat window not anchored to main window

It is still not anchored but is "always" visible. The toolbar problem reported in comment #2 is no longer present. Both windows now show up in the toolbar, "Apprentice" and "fmChat". As for Gnome testing, I haven't got access to a gnome desktop yet, I will work into that. Same for Kde. About other apps, I don't know any. But Apprentice can be freely downloaded.
