The current (17 Dec 2007) gs-auftrag demo, at the same url, behaves better; now one zooms straight to the key problem, which appears to be a crash in the app inside a window procedure callback. If I hack that function to return an error in that case, the app starts up! Unfortunately Windows doesn't return an error if destlen is INT_MAX.
