On Windows there is MS Gothic which is duplicated as MS PGothic and MS UI Gothic. The later have the Latin range proportional, the first one has the Latin range fixed width but I suspect these are really the same font with different spacing. There is also MS Mincho (and MS PMincho with proportional Latin). The normal look can be restored either by reverting this patch or by setting gdiplus=native in winecfg.
