I'm using wine 1.3.17 and the only thing that stops it from crashing on a headshot is to set Windows version to Windows 98. I recorded a demo in Windows that causes CS:S to crash everytime. It's de_dust2 using the scout shooting a T in the head. From reading the previous comments. I'll try to crash CS:S using different weapons for the headshots,maps and being both ct and t. Because it seems only sometimes for some people. I use ALSA. Each 20-60 minutes (it varies a lot) during the single player game the game hangs completely and I have to manually kill the process. I've experienced the same problem on Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid) x64 with kernel 2.6.32 and wine 1.0.1 (or sth like that). I might try to run it from a console and try to get error messages. The attached screenshot illustrates this. I am using an Intel graphic card on openSUSE 11.4 64bit. The same happened with openSUSE 11.3 32bit. If you tell me it is related to my intel driver, I should wonder why wine is the only application affected...
