ActionTest works fine using ANSI files/text. Not so with Unicode. If I copy Unicode text and paste it into ActionTest two things malfunction. 1. It is not possible to change the font of existing or new text; setting or toggling text as Bold has no effect either. 2. Text that is Italic shows properly in the text editor and print preview but prints out as normal rather than italics. When Wine is compiled with FreeType, winevdm.exe crashes. I tested with current Wine git master HEAD (2011-04-23) and a couple of slightly older checkouts as well. First the installer suffers from infamous bug http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9628 Happily enough Aric posted a patch http://www.winehq.org/pipermail/wine-patches/2008-October/062900.html a few days ago. After applaying the patch, the installer finsishes fine, but as the app doesn't run after it, it appeared the installation was not successfull in the end: a file MyPhotobooks.ini was missing, and that;s why the app crashes. I installed the app on windows, copied the lacking .ini file to wine, and the app starts just fine. I'll attach the +relay log from the installer. In wine-1.1.35-364-g9dc584d, Word 97 needs native oleaut32 (copied from XP) in order to record a macro the first time. Once the first macro has been successfully recorded, however, you can remove the override from winecfg, delete the native oleaut32.dll from Wine's system32 and restore the fake one, and Word 97 will continue to be able to record and play macros just fine. (I've tested this multiple times, with the same results.)
