It seems to use raw input. Same story on both Arch Linux and Linux Mint 13. In older versions of wine, it worked fine with a raw input patch, raw3.patch, available from the now closed-fixed rawinput thread. But a triple-click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE or HKEY_USERS still puts them in edit mode. Then clicking away from the key causes regedit to crash: wine: Unhandled stack overflow at address 0x7bc6739e (thread 0009), starting debugger... err:seh:setup_exception_record stack overflow 816 bytes in thread 0009 eip 7bc49290 esp 00231000 stack 0x230000-0x231000-0x330000 What appears to happen is that the key is copied into itself again and again until the stack overflow.
