Can be reproduced after first failed install by running the tool manually. There are a series of other "errors" that occur during the setup process that occurred before with bug 21567. 1. Unable to register SlingSDK. Please contact system administrator. 2. Error 1603 Fatal error during registration, Consult Windows Installer Help (Msi.chm) or MSDN. 3. SlingPlayerSetup encountered serious problem. Problem caused in the program or a deficiency in Wine.
