There is a problem with proper display of an actually loaded picture in a preview window in the Pentax Photo Laboratory software, v. 3.0. Some part of the preview is always covered with a few coloured strips, and what is more, the strips influence the look of the histogram taken from the picture, so you do not really know how the histogram should really look... Obviously, daily.cvd changes a lot, and if the bundled version is not current, a new one is downloaded. The file is small (~970 KB) and when installing on windows, only takes at most 5 seconds or so to download on xp (in a vm). On the same connection in wine, it takes up to a few minutes to download. In-game interface displays fine however, only the rendered game scene is terrible. According to the console output it seems to be a problem with GLSL. uname -a: Linux linux-0jxj 2.6.27.29-0.1-default #1 SMP 2009-08-15 17:53:59 +0200 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux Version of wine is a self-compiled 1.1.31 release from git. Distibution is openSuSE 11.1 with an ATI 4850 and fglrx 9.5. On first start it is trying to autoupdate. The autoupdate installer shows the message: "Rhapsody is running. It must be shut down during installation. Click OK." But clicking OK doesn't shut down Rhapsody. When I kill the rhapsody.exe process by hand the autoupdater continues and finishes successfully. In the attached terminal output I marked the point where I killed rhapsody.exe. HotWheels Stunt Track Driver 2 installs fine but fails to find the CD in both XP and 98 compatibility modes. It will show an image of inserting a CD into drive and rather than exiting the program with the Esc key, it causes a page fault which fails to debug and remains fully locked up.
