I immediately get a popup saying: Evernote was already installed by another user. Only one per-user installation is supported. An administrator can install Evernote for everyone after the per-user installation is removed. It makes programs like IMs unable to notify the user that it needs attention (received a new message etc). Some IMs like Tencent Messenager (TM) only uses this when an already open chat window receives new messages. I suggest you implement this function by setting the urgent hint on Linux/X11.
