I opened a Mesa bug here: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=99444 However, Mesa developers closed it, noting, that it must be caused by Wine using NV_register_combiners without checking if it's supported by the driver. There is no demo version available. In the options menu there are graphical list boxes to change screen resolution, language or detail level, but none of the boxes have text written on them (see attached screenshot). Installation seems to work, all libraries are found, no obvious system calls are missing, but there is still a problem. I am using Debian Etch stable (4.0) [Linux acer 2.6.23-rc3 #8 Thu Aug 30 17:27:22 CEST 2007 i686 GNU/Linux] I have compiled Wine myself from yesterday's GIT version, as the Debian package version still had the FindFirstVolumeW bug. I never encountered the text extent bug, so presumably it has been fixed in that version. I am using gcc (GCC) 4.1.2 20061115 (prerelease) (Debian 4.1.1-21). [Using built-in specs. Note +relay is very long, it seems that wine switches on the debugger after encountering the error and so does not bail out. For a simple and fast example, use the one from here: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/ms682512(v=vs.85).… Problem: After calling CreateProcess, the PROCESS_INFORMATION is empty with no handlers at all (everything is initialized with 0), GetLastError() is 0, the process is created and executed, but we have no way of knowing when it ends cause there is no handler. Compiled using vs9 on Win7 prof. Works great. In Act six (Tukohama's Keep), Wine-Staging 2.17 will crash when fighting the boss Tukohama. This boss spawns a lot totems. I have 17 hours played on this character with this version of the game and wine. This is the first consistent place I have seen wine crashing like this. Currently I cannot progress through the game while this bug exists. When run on Wine, it doesn't. This only happens when: - The ComboBox has a pre-selected item which is on its list of available items. - The form OnResize event updates the font color of the ComboBox to clBlack after all the form components are already drawn.
