This is an EXT4 partition When launching the game (from the Skyrim Launcher) the 800x500 window goes grey, (not black) and the game freezes. However audio does play! The only way to exit the game, is to navigate to a different desktop, and kill the SkyrimSE.exe process. Despite the game audio playing indicating that the application is running, the user is unable to interact with the game in any way. (navigating the menu using only the arrow keys and audio queues like Macgyver doesn't work) This happens with, and without the workaround outlined in Bug 41618 which states that the user is to launch the game using the xaudio2_7 argument. I have attached a logfile showing 2 attempts I made to launch the game, and the associated terminal readouts. One attempt with the xaudio2_7 argument and the other attempt without. To clarify, this is the workflow for launching skyrim SE: Open Steam->Launch Skyrim Special Edition->Configure game settings in Skyrim SE Launcher (this works!)->Click 'Play'->Game launches at resolution specified in the Skyrim SE Launcher (This is where it fails. The game freezes at a grey window with no audio) Tested at 800x500 (my native resolution) (sample resolution which is the smallest 16:10 resolution that the game supports) windowed -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. Various models are not rendered correctly in .hack//G.U Last Recode. The problematic shaders seems to have generated if branch with discard that seems to cause this. Attached is example of wine generated GLSL shader with problematic line commented. I click on next and nothing happens. I tried the solution of bug 35544 by installing winetricks -q w57 but it didnt work. I am using wine 1.7.13. Windows winhelp does not do that. That behaviour may be desired, e.g. it makes selecting text using the keyboard possible. However... Click in a page so the cursor is shown, then click on a link to go to another page. A flashing cursor is present at the top left, even before you click in the page. On some help pages, the flashing cursor is present at the top left even before the user clicks in the page. Also, if there is a large graphic at the top left, the flashing cursor may appear (see cwdeluxe.hlp and click on the picture). If I do not run the command "winetricks d3dx9" then the main menu has black blocks in the main menu. I've tried installing the individual d3dx9 dlls ( d3dx9_36, d3dx9_26, d3dx9_43, d3dx9_39, d3dx9_42, d3dx9_35, d3dx9_31, d3dx9_28) that are available to install via winetricks but none of those helped. As if the terrain and most of the objects (except characters, minimap, hud) were covered with solid rectangles. Disabling GLSL works around the problem. Reproduced with Nvidia 387.34 and with nouveau/mesa 17.2.5.
