Without any debugging-parameters, fixme-messages like this are written to stderr: fixme:d3d:wined3d_texture_add_dirty_region Ignoring dirty_region (180, 24, 0)-(184, 28, 4). Before I tried wine-2.7, I used 1.8.5 from ubuntu-repositories with the same problem. Which version of the game are you running? KQ6 works fine with SCUMMVM, DOSBOX and wine SIERRA.EXE envoking dosbox. I did a regression test between 1.3.22 and 1.3.22-203-gac90c1b: commit 68b15bc5ffe6ddf5d08cbc13479eaf718ad5e39f Author: Stefan Dösinger <stefan(a)codeweavers.com> Date: Tue Apr 19 21:24:26 2011 +0200 wined3d: Give GL_ARB_map_buffer_range another try. Nvidia's 270.xx.yy driver series fix the glMapBuffer alignment issues that caused major performance problems. If the user is using an older driver we now drop the VBO instead of using doublebuffered loading, which means that we fall back to the current behavior (no dynamic VBO) as needed.
