I went back and began bisecting wine between the two rebases. Further I visit page wine and again try to install wine using hint from winehq donwload page. and when all I do I restart my PC, and I open CLI and see version is wine-2.4. But I prepare to see wine-3.0 or wine-3.3. Then I decide to update wine, think it can help to change wine version and again I restart PC. When I try to run installer from in directory: "/home/<my_user>/Lejupielādes/" , installer, downloaded from https://github.com/stepmania/stepmania/releases/download/v5.0.12/StepMania-… ,fails with standard NSIS error "Error launching installer" When I copy it in directory "/home/<my_user>/Dokumenti/" , it runs perfectly fine. Actual result: The dropdown only contains a "Mouse and Keyboard" entry. Additional info: The results are identical with both the kernel driver, xpad, and the userspace driver, xboxdrv. I had reported in the forum that an older version of Wine (2.18) would throw the following error: wine: Unhandled exception 0x0eedfade in thread 140 at address 0x7bca1ce0:0x7b43c69c (thread 0140), starting debugger... err:seh:setup_exception_record stack overflow 880 bytes in thread 0140 eip f7576c37 esp 00230fc0 stack 0x230000-0x231000-0x330000 With Wine 3.0 things did not improve, the software "initiliazes" but after clicking ok it just crashes. In fact with the 3.0 when click to see more about the error it doesn't produce anything as it gets stuck. In the same thread an user replied with: "Hi, I gave the program a try and got the same crash, >From debuglog it appears it was printer-related. I have no printer installed, but did not believe a program can crash because of that. But remarkebly the following did the trick to get the program running: sudo apt-get --no-install-recommends install cups-pdf I`m not sure if this is a bug in wine and /or the program?."
