It uses 0% cpu but doesn't free up some 150-200 MB RAM, and needs to be killed. The game exits properly when Wine was compiled without Pulse support so that it uses ALSA on my system. Plain terminal output doesn't show anything interesting. This can be reproduced with the demo version too: Install the demo and launch UT3Demo.exe, create a profile and select <Play Offline>. Select <Exit> from the main menu, click <Exit> again on the splash screen --> UT3Demo.exe remains in the memory. Only the game remains in the list and it can be removed finally. Movie Magic Screenwriter 2000 now crashes when selecting Program Options from the File menu. Reverting the patch identified by the regression test gets rid of the crash, but the Program Options box still doesn't appear. Instead, the app throws up a warning that resources are dangerously low and telling me to close some programs and possibly reboot. So something else is also going on, but I'm afraid I don't know how to proceed from here to track it down.
