I am not sure if thats due wintab32,because im not a developer. Applications like SAI that are wonderfully small ,full featured and even better than photoshop for CG coloring (better brushes,other key features) work almost perfectly fine on wine, but their practically useless when tablet pressure doesnt work.. http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=11044 another application that is a freeware and a fine substitute for painter is http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=7425&iTestingI… tablet pressure works on photoshop and artrage,but not on many other key applications in the graphic world that crucially depend on it. This feature is very important,since there are absolutely no alternatives to these applications on linux (if you study their key features you'll see there arent any on windows too at the moment,especially Sai). The applications work almost perfectly on wine,but that lack of this feature stops people from taking advantage of that. Another application is Open Canvas... In detail: 1. configure "virtual desktop" mode via winecfg 2. Start EliteDangerous in Wine 3. Open a view inside EliteDangerous where every mouseclick (independent of cursor position) will have an effect (e.g. cockpit mode -> mouse-1 fires weapon) 4. switch to another X11 window (e.g. Firefox) 5. click onto something When clicking in Firefox, the click also get send into the game. So e.g. the primary weapon gets fired in the game. Alternatively, the cursor can also positioned over an ingame button (e.g. in the main menu). Then get another window into foreground without moving the mouse (e.g. alt-tab) and then click. This will trigger the ingame button over which the cursor lasted before switching windows. The app runs fine on 32 bit i386 with no errors. Running under a 64 bit architecture it comes up with an error: Debug Assertion Failed. There are abort, retry and ignore options given. Retry and subsequently show details gives the backtrace listing attached below. Ignore, followed by OK starts iUAT normally. Wine is version 1.7.12 64bit. Can this error be eliminated? Thanks. That app is portable, and the executable ran fine on my Ubuntu 20.4. Now I've installed Mint 20.1, then wine 6, then ran the same MLO executable again. Something bizarre happens: when I click on a tab in the app, its window moves to a specific position and size. If I move or resize the window and click one of the tabs, it moves back to that position. If I click elsewhere, this odd behavior doesn't happen. 1. Download from https://www.mylifeorganized.net/todo-list-windows.shtml and install 2. Launch the application. There should be two tabs at the top - "Outline" and "To-Do". 3. Click among them while moving the window around. I've run `sudo apt install --install-recommends winehq-devel`, but `wine --version` still outputs `wine-6.0` just like stable. When I try to run EstimateS version 9.1.0 via "wine drive_c/EstimateS\ 9\ Windows/EstimateSWin910/EstimateSWin910.exe" it crashes with "wine: Unhandled page fault on read access to 0x00000024 at address 0xdf9149 (thread 0009), starting debugger..." I have these wine packages installed via the Ubuntu PPA: wine-gecko2.24:amd64 - 2.24-0ubuntu1~ppa1 wine-gecko2.24:i386 - 2.24-0ubuntu1~ppa1 wine-mono4.5.2 - 4.5.2-0ubuntu1~ppa1 wine1.7 - 1:1.7.25-0ubuntu1~ppa4 wine1.7-amd64 - 1:1.7.25-0ubuntu1~ppa4 wine1.7-i386 - 1:1.7.25-0ubuntu1~ppa4 winetricks - 0.0+20140302-0ubuntu2 The backtrace is attached.
