https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=46562 Bug ID: 46562 Summary: Notepad++ 7.6.3 crashes when searching twice and first time found results Product: Wine Version: 4.0 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Mac OS X Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org Reporter: bugs.winehq.org(a)fennec.ath.cx Used 32bit installer and 64bit installer with version 7.6.3, both can crash the same way. https://notepad-plus-plus.org/repository/7.x/7.6.3/npp.7.6.3.Installer.exe * Start Notepad++ * File -> Open * Will propose "C:\Program Files (x86)\Notepad++" folder by default * Chose change.log (or any other file) * Click Open, window will close and file is displayed * Search -> Find... * Input anything that find a result, for example "Notepad" and click button "Find All in All Opened Documents" * With change.log file, 3 results will be displayed in the "Find result" footer box (don't if it's the right name) * Search box will close automatically if there are matches * Search -> Find... (again) Application crashes It seems that if you first search does not find any result and you close the search box manually, then next searches won't crash even if you have matches. It doesn't matter whether you sit on that screen or choose a character and start loading in to the game world. Slackware64-current Ryzen 2700X Vega 64 wine 4.0rc4 + staging from https://github.com/lutris/wine/commits/tkg Kernel 4.20.0 Mesa master, commit 3453814 LLVM 8.0.0svn, r349003 vkd3d master, commit e13fb13 Vanilla Wine doesn't display any output at all, the screen just freezes. To reproduce: 1. Install Foxit Reader. 2. Open sample signed PDF from Adobe. 3. Click on the signature in the document. 4. A Signature Validation Status window pops up that says: Signature is INVALID. - The document has been altered or corrupted since the Signature was applied. - The signer's identity has not yet been verified. 5. Clicking on the Signature Properties button brings up the Signature Properties window, but the Show Certificate button is greyed out. In Windows (tested XP & 7 in a VM), the first time you try to validate the signature the message in the Signature Validation Status window is: Signature validity is UNKNOWN. - The document has not been modified since the signature was applied. - The signer's identity is unknown because it has not been included in your list of trusted identities and none of its parent certificates are trusted. - The certificate has exceeded the time of validity. However, in Windows the Show Certificate button on the Signature Properties window works and takes you to a dialog that allows you to import the certificate. Once that is done, the message from clicking on the signature is: Signature is VALID, signed by John B Harris ,jbharris(a)adobe.com> - The document has not been modified since this signature was applied. - The signer's identity is valid. - The certificate has exceeded the time of validity. I'm attaching a log from opening the sample PDF and clicking on the signature in a clean wineprefix.
