Started the race. After the countdown, the vehicle turns left as though the left arrow were pressed and held. After pressing the right arrow, the game proceeds as usually. Apart from a flood of fixme's, nothing interesting can be found in the logs. Using Wine1.8. Tried wine-staging 1.9.3, but the results are exactly the same. The difference is immediately visible, without steam starting time is up to two-three minutes, with is up to thirty seconds. After a fresh install of linux, I keep getting this error using the same wineprefix as before as well as after a completely new install in a brand new wineprefix. I've also tried winearch win32 and win64 (trying both 32 bit and 64 bit versions of photoshop.exe in the wine64 winearch) with the same results.
