To Reproduce: To reliable cause the error open up EES and go to preferences, within the preferences window go to the sounds tab, hit the play button of any of the sound effects. This will cause the system to ask: ` “EES.app” would like to access the microphone. This script needs access to your microphone to run. Don't Allow Allow` And clicking on either allow or don't allow has the dialog close for less than a second and reopen, where the application has to be force quit to close the dialog. This is also an issue if EES cannot authenticate that the computer is connected to the right network where a noise (I think) is played if a file is opened, saved, or solved and thus requires a force quit. Current workaround: launch with terminal The installer cannot be downloaded without logging in. And also needs a separate license file if you could download it 4d870bfec8b9bb7c7e85393385c73bfdaa92f9fe setup_ees_acad.exe I am running macOS Sequoia 15.7 (24G222) on an arm64 Mac. As the DX11 implementation has been improved in Wine, the graphics stopped working at some point after Wine 2.3. I have attached a log file which may indicate well enough about the root reason of the issue (Should I still run a regression test?) Wine complains *a lot* about the following: err:d3d:wined3d_debug_callback 0x1b309e40: "GL_INVALID_ENUM error generated. Invalid primitive mode.". P.S. There are already an open ticket for corrupted graphics in this game (bug 42729), but this issue is about "No graphics at all". GUI graphics (menus etc.) are still okay. The application displays the Quicken splash screen briefly, then freezes. Wine reports a failure loading a typelib: err:ole:TLB_ReadTypeLib Loading of typelib L"C:\Program Files (x86)\Quicken\QWUTIL.tlb" failed with error 2 The file QWUTIL.tlb is not present in the original Quicken 6 installation media or directory. Only qwutil.dll exists. Older Wine versions (≈10.x) were able to run Quicken 6 without this TLB file. Manual registration attempts fail: regsvr32: 'DllRegisterServer' not implemented in dll 'qwutil.dll' This suggests Wine 11 now requires a typelib for COM/OLE registration that Quicken never shipped, causing a regression for this application. Steps to Reproduce: Install Wine 11.x (staging or stable) on Fedora Linux. Create a default WoW64 Wine prefix: WINEPREFIX=~/wine/quicken6-wow64 wineboot Install Quicken 6 (32-bit) into the prefix using the original installer. Verify that qw.exe is installed at: C:\Program Files (x86)\Quicken\qw.exe Launch Quicken: WINEPREFIX=~/wine/quicken6-wow64 DXVK_DISABLE=1 \ wine "C:\Program Files (x86)\Quicken\qw.exe" Expected Result: Quicken 6 launches normally and opens its main application window. Some Adobe Creative Cloud applications (at least Adobe Express Photos and Adobe Fresco) need appxbundle support to install. Currently they crash earlier in the process due to a missing PackageFullNameFromId implementation, but when including the implementation from Proton, they fail to install the appxbundle. Follow up from bug 59415. The game inputs jitter when moving in the rhythm segments (in this case, the tutorial). The DPI setting in winecfg and the Mouse Sensitivity setting in-game, does not fix or seem to change the issue/behavior. Sometimes it clips off-screen/off the board.
