The common thing between them is they're all .NET application as far as I can tell. The wine's built-in notepad seems to be fine. I currently tested on UndertaleModTool and Margrete and they all crashed. ======EXTRA COMMENT====== As I'm writing this bug report, I did a quick test with Notepad++ and found it also crashed as well. But since I've already packaged my programs and documentation for reproduction, the attachment won't include reproduction for this application. ========================= The attachment is too big to fit into the Bugzilla's attachment uploader so I have to put it on Google Drive and include it as a link. I sincerely apologize in advance for this inconvenience but I just want to make sure it will be reproduced perfectly. The attachment is a .tar.gz which contains two directories, each for one application I mentioned above (not counting the extra comment). In each folder, you will see two important files for reproduction: - A `REPRODUCTION.md` for instructions to reproduce; - A `crash-log` for logs from wine when I'm reproducing it on my machine. The reason why it's that large is because I included complete WINE_PREFIX I used for each application, I haven't tested on empty WINE_PREFIX yet and weirdly though, one of them (UndertaleModTool) needs a very specific WINE_PREFIX to startup properly because Wine's .NET lacking icu.dll.ulocdata_getCLDRVersion and icu.dll.uloc_canonicalize so I had to include the prefix (which is from undertalemodtool AUR package in Arch Linux) to make it work. Again I apologize in advance for that inconvenience. Mesa version: 2:26.0.2-2 NVIDIA version: 590.48.01-6 OS: Cachy-OS Programs I cannot use because of the error: - Clip Studio Paint - Wallpaper Engine - Any 32-bit application Some 64-bit applications warn but still run. Proton-cachyos seemed to make the game startup correctly: after bisecting, I found the related patch to be https://github.com/CachyOS/wine-cachyos/commit/0e72c99dfa5e154372c708325950…. Adding this single patch on top of Wine upstream is enough to make the game startup on Wine as well, though with it requiring implementing more functions to get in game correctly. I receive a notice that there's an error and Battle.net has to shut down. I close it, and the error shows up again. This continues in a cycle until I use "wineserver -k" to exit. The backtrace saved from this has been attached. I am able to use the Settings button on the login screen for the Battle.net app, as well as typing in a username/password, but I cannot go any farther than that because there is no submit button and it doesn't seem to want to load. Be aware that I had previously been loading Starcraft II directly using the SC2Switcher.exe executable, but because a new version needs to be downloaded, I'm needing to get into the Battle.net app. Not sure if not using the app is a side effect.
