However, EVE now crashes during the transition to the login screen (which is when the client initializes the multi-channel mixer control). I'm running gentoo Linux on an AMD64 processor, with fairly current software (though wine-1.1.31 hasn't made it into gentoo yet). Sound device is a realtex AC888, using the snd_hda_codec_realtek module. Console output is attached.
