I'm not sure how to test this further Focht. With setupapi fully using a
private heap, I still sometimes (but rarely) get deadlocks. If I don't test for
deadlocks, they get much more frequent when I reduce the private heap usage.

Native updspapi makes things worse.

Any other ideas or advice?
