To reproduce the problem: Download the last Miranda version:http://files.miranda-im.org/builds/miranda-v080a15w.zip extract the files on a folder. Open Miranda and go to main menu. Open the menu Irc and click on quick connect. After you connected to a server, click on join channel. Choose a channel and click ok.
