The problem is still present with todays git HEAD
405575168faaa80cc66ccfa9d9adefa0fbbc8a65 in Fedora 8. I'm using
metacity-2.20.2-1.fc8.

I tested a RHEL5 with Gnome/metacity (metacity-2.16.0-8.el5) and that one
doesn't show the problem. I can test on Monday with a Fedora 9 and how that one
behaves.
