I identified the regression at this commit: http://www.winehq.org/pipermail/wine-cvs/2007-November/037630.html After I undo some of the changes at ChangeDisplaySettingsExA @ dlls/user32/sysparams.c to not call GdiConvertToDevmodeW, as 0.9.48 and before, Myst worked again.
