Experiencing exactly the same problem here, on two machines:
One running Debian Sarge (2.6.8-3), wine 0.9.32 compiled from source,
the other Mac OS X 10.4.8, wine 0.9.31, compiled from repository a couple of
weeks ago. The symptoms exhibited are identical.
