that would be the one.
ADDITIONAL:
[1] uninstalled IvAc, using wine uninstaller
[2] renamed ~.wine dir
[3] reinstalled IvAc (this created new ~.wine)
[4] no joy - same result
note:
[5] comparison is made with "good" version being wine version 0.9.52
