I opened the iTunes installation file with Archive Manager, then installed the various files separately. Installing each of the application dependencies first and then run the overall to get the application working.
The problem I see now - app store doesn't work and the application will freeze during normal use.
Open a separate bug, please. This one is about the error message on startup.
