This bug is three years old: Quark 9 isn't available anywhere and my test environment for this bug didn't exist anymore.
Maybe someone will set this bug to abandoned and than close it.
Austin, do you still have the file to test? If not please resolve as abandoned as suggested by Joerg.
I do have it, can't test at the moment, will in a few days.
With wine-1.9.8-194-gef36a25, I get an error about .Net 3 missing. I then installed winetricks dotnet30 in a clean prefix, and then quarkx. It starts, but hangs for me (this was over a remote X connection and could be why). But, there's no crash. The issues I saw in comment #1 aren't happening for me either.
