We are sorry for the inconvenience. This can be caused by a problem in the program or a deficiency in wine. You may want to check http://appdb.winehq.org etc etc. This program worked in Windows 7 but only installed itself on the Ubuntu desktop to read the above message. I installed it using the latest Winetricks version for Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric. (In reply to comment #15)
I found a comment buried in the AppDB under Kindle 1.6.1 that says the crash on opening books is caused by missing fonts, and the workaround is to install winetricks allfonts. I have the MS fonts installed systemwide.
So, does winetricks allfonts fix it for any of you?
I tried installing allfonts in winetricks, but this didn't change the above problem. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
