1st result:

The problem is gone with the git-version?!
I compiled it twice to be sure.

Unfortunately, I cannot get 3.15 or 3.14 compiled (both show errors concerning
fonts ...)

I only know that the package 3.14 which comes from the repo of archlinux shows
the described problem introduced with version 3.8.

But since it is gone with current git, I guess there is no need to worry ?!
