[Bug 10543] worms armageddon crashes when clicking the menu

I tried the change from bug 3023 and I could indeed click on stuff on the menu.
 However once I played 1 game and exited back to the menu I was unable to
select anything on the menu much like the bug that prevents full screen play. 
Is that related to this bug?
