http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=59430 Bug ID: 59430 Summary: EES 10.836-3d: Audio output launches unescapable microphone request permissions dialog Product: Wine Version: 11.0 Hardware: aarch64 OS: MacOS Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: minor Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@list.winehq.org Reporter: winehq@sl.champeaus.org Created attachment 80401 --> http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=80401 Launcher file I created that is a app but saved as a text (AppleScript) file This only occurs when the app is launched via an application script - App. Because of this I am not sure how to upload a log of the console output if I never see any when the app is normally run, and running via the terminal is a workaround. To Reproduce: To reliable cause the error open up EES and go to preferences, within the preferences window go to the sounds tab, hit the play button of any of the sound effects. This will cause the system to ask: ` “EES.app” would like to access the microphone. This script needs access to your microphone to run. Don't Allow Allow` And clicking on either allow or don't allow has the dialog close for less than a second and reopen, where the application has to be force quit to close the dialog. This is also an issue if EES cannot authenticate that the computer is connected to the right network where a noise (I think) is played if a file is opened, saved, or solved and thus requires a force quit. Current workaround: launch with terminal The installer cannot be downloaded without logging in. And also needs a separate license file if you could download it 4d870bfec8b9bb7c7e85393385c73bfdaa92f9fe setup_ees_acad.exe I am running macOS Sequoia 15.7 (24G222) on an arm64 Mac. This does not occur with a similar launch and install setup on an Intel Mac running Sonoma (prior macOS version) Given the behavior I think it is an issue with the macOS version and not the architecture. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
