If you apply the latest patch from Andrey Turkin i would rate WC3 as garbage because i ONLY play a custom map (DOTA).
Well, you'd have to rate the current wine git as garbage anyway :) Would be probably worth producing logs with WINEDEBUG=+sync,+winsock,+file for every single issue that you run into and attach it here with a describtion which problem appears.
