There is now always a 1-3 second freeze when combat starts or stops, which pretty much makes combat very annoying. I thought it might have to do with the starting/stopping of Battle music, so I went into the Data Files/Music directory and moved the Battle directory out of the way, which seems to help a little but it doesn't really fully fix the problem. I noticed it when I recently upgraded Ubuntu from Gutsy to Hardy, and Wine from 0.9.59 to 1.0-rc5.
