[Bug 26411] Microsoft Flight Simulator X (both demo and full) hang on first screen

Do we have a "Properly implement SO_CONNECT_TIME" bug?  I have a thought about
how to do this that's relevant for another bug and solving this would be a much
lower hanging fruit.
