[Bug 53940] VARA window is black when launched from RMS Express

I tried $ WINEDLLOVERRIDES=d3d9=d wine RMS\ Express.exe

and it still launched a black window for VARA, and then 'RMS Express' crashed
with backtrace.  I attached it.

WINEDLLOVERRIDES did not work.
