I can even run Themida64.exe in a VirtualBox VM with Debian 10 installed.
Yes, the demo seems to work in my VM as well.
Also a quick Google search about "themida cannot run under virtual machine" turned up a bunch of registry hacks to get around this. Maybe some of them are helpful.
The hacks work to run it in a VM, but no under Wine.

Interesting. I have exact the same CPU and tried in a clean WINEPREFIX as well. Still, crashes. However, I'm on Arch Linux. The offical package crashes, but building from source seems to work. I'll investigate that further. Also, I tested with wine-staging 5.5 and 5.7, and this didn't work either.
