The patch isn't working for me, and 0.9.46 isn't either.
If 0.9.46 isn't working for you, the patch can't help you, as it was intended to fix a regression (?) from 0.9.46. (In reply to comment #45)
I downloaded a copy of the 0.9.46 source but it doesn't build. Is there a different revision that you know works with spore too?
Sorry, I forgot which exact revision it broke in.
