https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=43289 Bug ID: 43289 Summary: Clarify previous packages to be removed when installing Wine Product: Wine Version: 2.11 Hardware: x86 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: documentation Assignee: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org Reporter: ddascalescu+wine(a)gmail.com Distribution: --- https://wiki.winehq.org/Ubuntu reads "If you have previously installed a Wine package from another repository, please remove it and any packages that depend on it (*e.g.*, wine-mono, wine-gecko, winetricks) before attempting to install the WineHQ packages, as they may cause dependency conflicts." I've removed those three packages, but the "e.g." suggests there may be others. What is the *complete* list of packages that need to be removed? Can that list please be put in those installation instructions? -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
