I'm experiencing stuttering and garbled sound in WoW, EQ2, Winamp and several other apps. I'm using a fully updated Ubunto 8.10 with wine 1.1.10. The only things that get sound to work in affected apps are running padsp winecfg and selecting oss or killing pulseaudio.
