Git identified the faulty version
until this  bad commit: [e57a4e94909eede1d7e84bb092d5cc93fc8b9b22] msvcr71: 

i did not have to add 
msvcr71 = n,b to the libraries in winecfg



in newer version my app only works if i add the 
msvcr71 = n,b
